ADMISSION PROCESS
Eligibility
Students who have completed 14 years of age or more and have not passed the 10th standard or 12th standard exam from any recognized board are eligible for the Open Board(NIOS).
Registration
Students need to register themselves for the Open Board System by visiting the official website of the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS). They need to fill out the online registration form and upload the necessary documents, such as age proof, address proof, previous mark sheets, and other relevant certificates.
Admission fees
After the registration process is complete, students need to pay the admission fee as per the Open Board(NIOS)'s guidelines. The fee varies depending on the course and the number of subjects.
Study materials
After the payment of admission fee, students will receive study materials, such as textbooks, question papers, and other resources, from the Open Board(NIOS).
Examinations
The Open Board(NIOS) conducts exams twice a year, usually in March/April and September/October. Students can appear for the exams as per their convenience and flexibility.
Results
The Open Board(NIOS) will release the results of the exams on its official website. Students can access their results using their registration number or roll number.
